Windows and macOS, no Microsoft Word required: A native desktop application for either platform, completely word processor agnostic. One includes its own Form Volume editor, so nothing else needs to be installed or licensed.
Your work is never held hostage: If your license ever lapses, the software keeps working, fully and without restriction. It runs on your machine, so it stays yours to use; only updates and support end. Renew within a year and you're simply caught up, on your original anniversary date; after a year, returning requires a new first-year license. One thing about the installer

On Windows, we don't code sign the installer, so the first run shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" panel. Click "More info," then "Run anyway," and it installs normally; you will see it once. The macOS build is signed, so nothing of the sort happens there. Either way we publish a SHA-256 checksum with every release, so you can verify the file you downloaded is the file we built.
